Friday Confession

It’s 10.30 in the morning and I had no idea it was Friday, much less Good Friday. I am in a bathrobe, and the kids are playing Madden.

I’m not X-tian, so I’m really excited that I’ve only got four days left before I can buy Cadbury Eggs at half off.

Perhaps tomorrow I’ll be a stricter parent.

    You can also take the kids to McDonald’s for $1.29 filet o fish. Last Friday for that.

    We used to celebrate a secular Easter, but I told the girls we’re not doing it this year. At least Riley got to go to an Easter Egg hunt with the Boys & Girls Club yesterday. My work for Easter is done.

    The only thing I like about Easter is the Cadbury commercial with the lion trying out for the rabbit’s job. How many years has that commercial been making me laugh?

    I’m with you Jessica. Still in my jammies and it’s noon. Love it! We are Eastered out long before Easter – 4 egg hunts within a week and a half!
