Every day my mother takes a picture with her iPhone camera and emails it to me. I post the pictures here, they are never edited, but they are reduced to 70% of the original size.

It’s 10.30 in the morning and I had no idea it was Friday, much less Good Friday. I am in a bathrobe, and the kids are playing Madden.
I’m not X-tian, so I’m really excited that I’ve only got four days left before I can buy Cadbury Eggs at half off.
Perhaps tomorrow I’ll be a stricter parent.
Buy the book.
Last night I fulfilled my obligation to tell my children the story of the exodus.
There was absolutely no joy for me, I was exhuasted, as I’d spent the night prior being terrorized in my dreams. As we sang ancient songs about Jews being enslaved, I held hands with my Auntie, who spent her childhood as a slave in the camps.
I thought about Maddie, a lot, and I wondered if maybe G-d wanted her to experience only joy, so he took her to be with him before she could grow.
I am incredibly melancholy and grateful and inspired, all in one.
Forgive me, because I don’t have much to share with you until I shake this. I hate that nothing will make Mike and Heather okay. I’m not much for prayer, but I’m finding myself whispering their names a lot. To G-d you know, asking him for help.
I took a screenshot of Heather’s twitter page, because every time I look at it my heart skips a beat and I forget to breathe.
Give to the March of Dimes
It won’t make you feel good, but it’ll make you feel a little less awful.

And the ache she left behind today.
Heather and Mike Spohr have lost their darling Madeline Alice Spohr.
Please give generously.

And hug your babies.
As there is news it will be posted at Heather’s Blog. http://thespohrsaremultiplying.com
They have asked for donataions in lieu of flowers. Here is the walk Heather had planned on making. If you’re one of us, please give right up to your comfort zone and then add a dollar for good luck. Because in the world of scientific research every dollar counts.
So I’m going to go and finish filling this bucket with tears and think of my friend Heather who had the opportunity to love a child as only a mother can.
Please contact Heater and Mike on twitter.

Check out Social Media Club’s recap post.
There was a very interesting conversation that happened at the last meeting.
My take?
Frankel sees the value of Social Media but adds a pinch of old school. He wants to see ROI from bloggers.
Cisco empowers their evangelists but delights in the fact that they don’t have to pay them. I would love to interview a Cisco blogger. Cisco also sees video as the future, though there’s something they can’t reveal.
Bakespace provides a place for brands to meet consumers and the conversation is open. I’d love to pry a little more.
Somewhere around the 38th minute of the video Wm Marc interrupts, and then at the 50th minute the Motrin discussion ensued. I don’t have much to add to the conversation at the moment, I’m still trying to formulate my thoughts.
Moms can be a brand’s best friend. I love talking about folks who get it right. I never planned on being a disrupter. I don’t plan much in this space, but every so often a housewife is what the brand needs.
Thanks to the SMCLA rockstars (let’s hope they don’t ban me)
