A week or so ago a fellow mom blogger Soleil Seline emailed me asking if I’d answer five questions for her. I am always incredibly flattered any time anyone other than my mother can spell my name, so I sent off some answers to her, and we have an interview.

What a wonderful post! I love the insight, but I have a question for you??? Would you ever compromise your *voice* for that paycheck? Or would you tell them to take a hike if they asked you to? This is something I’m always curious about with women I admire, but have bold voices like you.
I’ve said “no thank you” to some very high paying campaigns. I’ve said no for two reasons. Firstly they were not products/causes I believed in so it was not the right thing for me to do on a personal level. Secondly, because they were products/causes I didn’t believe in I said no so that my community would continue to trust me. I’m sure I have a price, everyone does, I just doubt that blogging will ever be anywhere near my price.
That was a very nice interview. Nicely done by you both. Her intro sounds about right. Why would you be so surprised?! ^_^
