I’m closing in on 20,000 twitter followers. As of this writing it is less than 1,100 away. We have a wonderful community and I’d like to use this as an opportunity to shower you in gifts.
I don’t do many giveaways, mostly because they’re an absolute pain the ass. Now that Google+ has hangouts I’m thinking I’ll copy Peter Shankman from the old days, grab a friend and do a live Trivial Pursuit style giveaway that lasts all day long. [edit: no I won’t be using G+ for this because hangouts are limited to 10… argh… maybe ustream]
In order to do this crazy giveaway I need some help from y’all. I need things to give away. I know y’all have asked a million times if I’d like to do a giveaway and that a million times I’ve said, “I’m sorry, they’re too much work.”
Well, to commemorate this milestone I’m willing to work pretty hard. If you have a product you’d like to share with my twitter community (which will be 20,000 strong) please fill out this form. I’ll need the product shipped to me in advance as I’ll be placing those shipping labels on as we film and if someone wonderful like UPS, FedEx or even USPS wanted to sponsor shipping I’d be thrilled.
I’ll be posting about all the wonderful items we’ll be giving away and the giveaway day will be a weekday within 10 days of passing the 20,000 mark.
