A New Windows 8 Phone

I’m trying out this phone for a few weeks and snapped a little video when the Windows Phone team was demo’ing it for me. Jane wants the phone because Gwen Stefani has one… well played Microsoft. There’s a Kids Corner feature that y’all might be interested in. Watch the video. Also, randomly there’s this thing called Erli Bird. It’s for early adopters. Sign up for it here.

Technology Can’t Help But Change Us

Today’s news story is an unavoidable one for me. If you go on over to Tesla’s site you’ll see a post by Elon Musk which counters John Broder’s New York Times review of the Tesla S by using the vehicle logs. Counters is too kind a word. Musk demonstrates that John Broder lied and that The New York Times published it. This breaks my heart into a million pieces because I adore NYT automotive reviews. Musk does have a point though when he ressurects Broder’s words, “Yet the state of …

Tough Stuff: RokBed V3 Samsung Galaxy S3 Case Review

Thanks in advance to William Vega, contributing writer, for another great post.  There’s a reason I have an S3: I like its slim form factor. I realized yesterday that there’s a very real need for me to disclose to y’all what exactly the Windows Champions program is since I don’t have a fancy sidebar widget. At the beginning of the year long commitment the folks at Microsoft lend each of the bloggers a device to use and learn about through the year. Last year it was a laptop and this year it’s the Surface Tablet. With Windows 8 having launched and …

Pocket Projector: Telstar MP50 HDMI Projector Review

I hope you enjoy this gadget review from my friend William.  Pocket Projector: Telstar MP50 HDMI Projector Review Telstar’s new portable projector is lightweight, nice to look at, and (most importantly) easy to use. It’s only slightly bigger than a stack of Post-It notes (3.9″ x 3.8″ x .89″ to be exact), so it fits quite nicely in a purse, a backpack, or even a forgiving pants pocket. I wasted no time in putting the projector to use. Since I don’t read manuals, I simply plugged the sucker in and …
