Really Great Things: Push Girls and Le Cirque

Periodically I get to experience things that are a bit out of the ordinary because I’m a blogger. This week I met five women that took my breath away and ate at Le Cirque without leaving my beloved Los Angeles. Friday night Mr. G and I were treated to dinner at a Le Cirque pop up restaurant in Downtown LA. It was at the City Club on Bunker Hill which has sweeping views of Los Angeles and a dress code. When Mr. G asked me if he should wear a …

One Week of Working Out Followed by Some Weekend Sabotage

Last week I worked out with Loren Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Loren is this mass of energy with a booming voice and the unique ability to get me through a circuit with tons of sweat and no tears. Monday was the first workout and although I’d thought of myself as being pretty active I was winded and even queasy at some points. Loren was patient. I was embarrassed. Dinner with The Braxtons and Bingo with Boys who Dress Like Girls

This week has been extraordinary with opportunity falling from the sky and I’m smart enough to capitalize on just one thing then I’ll be a very happy lady. After picking Jane up at 11 we swing through the grocery store so that I can pick up my Oracea prescription and some sushi for Jane. I stop at the pharmacy and they still haven’t been able to apply the coupon so my …

Festival Gourmet International: and the Story of How I Became Your Fat Friend

Mr. G. and I were just hosted on fabulous trip to Riviera Nayarit. The trip was centered around the Gourmet Festival. To call it incredible would be a gross understatement. This is a trip that every foodie should take. If you love meeting new people, all the better. We had just one progressive dinner but they feature them three times a week during the ten day festival. Our progressive dinner had us visiting five restaurants for eight courses and eight wine pairings (except dessert which was a cocktail pairing and …
