Dinner with The Braxtons and Bingo with Boys who Dress Like Girls
This week has been extraordinary with opportunity falling from the sky and I’m smart enough to capitalize on just one thing then I’ll be a very happy lady. I’ve tried saying yes more than no lately and it’s leaving me absolutely exhausted.
Earlier this week I had a group of women here to talk about blogging and some other super secret stuff. Of course Debbie was one of them and she brought Fresh Brothers Pizza to feed the masses. Jane is totally addicted to their Greek Salad, Alexander and Mr G are hooked on the wings and now I think I’ll have to schlep out to get more. It’s interesting, Debbie has made Fresh Brothers the official food sponsor of Los Angeles blogging. Remember the stories they told you about drug dealers that gave you a sample to get you hooked?
Junior saw twenty odd women and wasted no time in hopping from lap to lap. I had to take him for a grooming because he smelled a little bit like the perfume counter but in a very bad way. Too many scents on that little dog.
Tonight I’m having dinner with the Braxtons (all of them) and from there I’m headed to Hamburger Mary’s for Drag Queen bingo with a friend and her mother… it should be a sight to behold.
Alexander had his braces an hour ago and he’s been eating chewy candy for the first time in two years.
The book is starting to look as a book ought to look. My big concern is that I need to maintain both blog and book. It’s going to be a herculean effort but I’m pretty sure I can do it.
Actually. I need a wife.
