When I’m cooking I set kitchen timers so that my family thinks I’m following really involved recipes.
Really, I’m just cooking blind, but it’s so much more impressive with dinging in the background.

Oh, Gottlieb.
I set timers at work because once I’ve got something in the oven there’s always something else to begin, and it’s so easy to completely forget about whatever is in the oven till it’s too late. Plus, with the timer, anyone can hear it, and if someone isn’t rushing to the oven then someone else will generally check to see what the timer is for and whether it’s done.
Cooking blind, is there any other way?
LOL
I barely ever cook, there is my confession! I make everyone in the house take a night to cook supper. I don’t have to cook as much and the kids get good training before the are on their own.
LOL, never thought of that one!
