(This is a sticky post it will stay up here for the duration of the contest, September 21, please scroll down for more recent entries)
I’ve never done a giveaway before.
Heck, I haven’t done much of anything before, it’s a fairly new blog. I’d been wanting to keep things light and bright here but somehow the election got in the way.
(big payday after the jump)
In any event, before there was blogging there was eBay. When Meg Whitman was still at eBay and you could email her at [email protected] and get an actual response, I made a few dollars there every minute month. Sadly, the days of seller profits going wild on eBay are over. As I prepare to close my store I realize that I’m selling stuff for almost nothing anyhow, so I might as well give y’all something for your time.
It’s a size large Mella Shirt by Theory. If you have a cocktail party (or say an LA Moms Launch party) to attend this winter, this is your shirt. All I have is a size large, so if you’re teeny tiny you can have it taken in or make a friend happy with an amazing gift.
Retail value $390.
I hate giving away all my secrets in such a public forum, but with the exception of the price tag this is the perfect Mommy Shirt. Take a look at how the front plunges, those breast pleats will flatter any size and bring you into proportion. The front ruching minimizes your waist and then… heaven! The little flares at the bottom hide the mommy goo.
If you don’t have mommy goo please don’t tell me about it. I do, it’s icky, ’nuff said.
As for the rules of the giveaway:
Comment here for one entry, do not forget to enter your email address. No one sees it but me, and I’ll need to contact you.
Write a short post on your blog about what bottoms and shoes you’d wear with this amazing shirt for five additional entries. Be sure to link back here. I’ve made you a simple bit of html you can copy and paste into the body of your post if you like, it’s a picture and a link all in one. See, I’m a giver.

Get your entries in by midnight (pacific time) September 21st. On the 22nd I’ll put all the entries into a box and have the kids pick a name.
This top is amazing, and I’m a size Large, so I wouldn’t even have to take it in! I’d love to wear it under a tailored jacket (it will be chilly here by late Sept./early Oct.), the one pair of Curvy Gap jeans that still fit me (I’m six months postpartum), and ballerina flats. Then I would have something decent to wear the next time my husband and I go to a nice dinner.
Wow, that’s a great shirt! And I have plenty of mommy goo to fill it up with, so bonus! (First time that’s ever been a bonus, BTW.)
So. I actually contemplated buying that top from you (I know! Sorry!) and didn’t because it was the wrong size. So don’t count this as an entry… But I’m going to link back to it for others. :)
That top would look fantastic with a pair of boot-cut jeans and strappy sandals. It would also be great paired with a pencil skirt and pointy-toed heels. I can also see it with these grey slacks I have (Express Editor pants) and ballet flats. So many options. I want someone to wear this and post a picture! :)
It wouldn’t fit me, but I know of several people who would love me forever if I gave them this as a gift. So, count me in!
Ooo! Ooo! Just my size. I’d wear it with new trouser jeans from LL Bean or the ones I have to get shortened from Boden (bonus: would actually do it) and the Helle short heels that I can actually wear post ankle surgery and my husband would take me out for my delayed birthday dinner.
Oo!
And if I don’t win it, congrats to whomever wins.
I fit all of the requirements for this shirt. I also just bought shoes that will go with it perfectly. Pick me!
Love love this top. I would wear to my bro’s rehearsal dinner in Oct.
Oh my gosh…I would seriously wear that shirt EVERYWHERE. To work. Shopping. To diner with friends. To breakfast with my parents. To the park with my baby. That’s how much I love it. LOVE it.
Love the shirt- that color is great for us brunettes :)
What a gorgeous top! Probably too small for me, but incentive to lose more weight! Nice jeans & heels.
Found you through Amy & selfishmom.com, btw.
I’m still to pathetic to figure out y URl and don’t know if my blog still exists…. However, I love the top, it’s gorgeous and I would love to win and I’d wear it all the time since it would be my only fancy piece of clothing… I picture myself in the carpool lane wearing it and pajama bottoms, at the gym over sweat pants, at meetings with cowboy boots and black pants, grocery shopping over my torn jeans and crocs… Sleeping in it, lest it get lost in my house or someone accidently launder it… I would stand outside the dry cleaner wearing only a trench coat once a week waiting for it back. I would not swim or shower in however, you have my word on that. I wouldn’t want to let it loose it’s shape. I’ll tie up my young son so he can’t touch when they free pre-school. It will be the star of my wardrobe… and perhaps I could put a — donated by Jessica Gottlieb – sign on it as advertising since I don’t know my URL.
love the top! I seriously need to add something cute to my wardrobe–this would be perfect!
What a fabulous top! I’d love to win- it would be wonderful to have after this baby arrives so I can start feeling sexy again! : )

I have mommy goo. Lots of it. It’s a beautiful shirt!
I love this shirt, and blue is my color! I would wear with my pair of my “skinny jeans” and some high-heels!
Off to blog about it…

What a lovely top! This won’t fit me, but it would definitely fit my best friend! She’d love this! Thanks so much for the chance!
The top is so great – it looks like it would be flattering on most figures. Best of all, it would fit me, and I could really use some dressy clothes!
I love this shirt. It may be too big but hell a shirt that nice…I’ll make it work!!
Oh, that’s so pretty! I’d wear it with jeans, or maybe a black skirt and black shoes! Lovely!
GORGEOUS. Classy. Generous. I’d wear this top – and nothing else – just run naked down the street.
such a beautiful top.. I would feel 10 years younger in it
Simply gorgeous! It would look perfect with some silver heels! Hope I win but goodness, whoever wins is gonna look hawt in it!
i would feel 10 years younger in it
Well, how could I pass up a chance for this lively top! It would look PERFECT on me! ;)
This IS very pretty! It should fit me, but if it doesn’t, I have a friend that’s a bit smaller than me that would absolutely love it also!
This is a gorgeous shirt! Very stylish and sexy. If it doesn’t fit me, my Brazilian friend Regina would love it!

I don’t have a blog but I would wear this with some Manolo Blahniks and Daisy Dukes to accentuate my gluteous Marcus Aurelius (Gladiator).
Not really, my wife would really enjoy this though. It matches her style.

This top would become my go to top, for feeling fabulous.

I never win anything but I keep trying. xo
Who wouldn’t want that top? It’s lovely! Thanks for the chance to win it!
I just lost 3.75 inches on my waist (over 10 weeks) doing some YRG (Yoga for Regular Guys/Gals which is basically a yoga on steroids!) and I am itching to wear something fabulous that my hubby can take off easily as well! This looks like it will flatter my figure, cover the muffin top (aka mommy goo) that will inevitably burst over my “skinny jeans” and make my boobies look gagalicious! So, pick me and I’ll seriously wear this around the house in stilettos and a thong right around the time hubby gets home… Then maybe I’ll cover up the buns with some tight pants and go out on the town!
Love always,
Heather
P.S. I love making myself laugh!
