My family loves sports. My husband loves Major League Baseball, as do my children. I love my family. Recently we were at a Dodger Game and I noticed something.
I really am impressed by it, and if anyone from Major League Baseball would care to let me know, I’d be thrilled.
I also have some questions about ironing. I noticed (with the Yankees in particular) that some of the players have a nice crease on their sleeves, while others don’t. How is that decided? Is it player preference? Do you starch their uniforms or is there an extra seam?
One last baseball question? How come these guys can’t pick up their own bats? I know they’re famous and all, but really? After they strike out they can’t bend over and pick up their own bat? Would that be too much to ask?
Jess…How come these guys can’t pick up their own bats? I know they’re famous and all, but really? After they strike out they can’t bend over and pick up their own bat?
Too many wolf whistles…I noticed a few coming from your section the last game;-)
You’re living proof that fans are thinkers.
Jessica, I dont know about the Dodgers, or Yankees for that matter, but I have been told that the olympics use WIN laundry detergent. I have a friend who swears by it to get the wonderful red clay out of white baseball pants, and the lovely stink out of teenage boys socks. She bought hers at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The bat boys and girls need something to do. If you take away their job the Bat Boy union will go on strike and you don’t want to see the chaos that results from that.
I don’t pay attention to anything enough to notice something like a crease on a sleeve. Also, I don’t iron. Seriously. It doesn’t happen.
It’s a sure sign you’re a geek among jocks when the laundry is what you notice.
