Friday Confession: My Home Office Is Disgusting

Earlier this week I was at my friend’s house, and I got to spend a few minutes in her home office.

It’s a beautiful space. It’s neat and organized, very soothing.

My office is piles of paper, castoff furniture and bare walls. I really need to fix it, but in the interim I keep the door shut.

  1. Awww, Jess! Glad you liked my office! I sure do spend a lot of time here, so I had to make it pretty & serene. I must admit, it is usually a big ol’ mess, but I stashed boxes and press kit materials since I knew you were coming. We all have clutter lurking somewhere behind a closed door…

  2. Please, next time you’re in Denver, come spend time with me in my home office – which consists of a huge ugly desk in the middle of an unfinished basement surrounded with photography equipment and Christmas decorations. It even has a musty smell I’ll not try to get rid of… just for you! (I always envy a beautiful home office!)

  3. Nancy new mom and designer

I’d be happy to design a new space for you. I am a stay at home Mom with a 4 month old and have been a designer of kitchens, offices, bathrooms, libraries, etc. for over 20 years. I love to work with spaces and budgets.
