What Day Is It?

I swear I just wander around town asking, “What day is it?”

I know that corporate taxes were due yesterday and that tomorrow I have to wear green, but I don’t really know exactly what day of the week it is. I’m not worried that I’m losing it because I’ve always been this way. I used to look at a newspaper each morning to find out what happened the day before, but newspapers have gone the way of the dodo bird. Which reminds me, I need to cancel my subscription to the LA Times.

Do you know what day it is? Do you care?

Am I the only person who neither knows nor cares what day of the week it is?

  1. Something like that. I only know the day of the week b/c the schoolbus shows up. Oh, and I have to look at my daughter’s therapy calendar. Other than that, eh. Now when school’s out? Forget it. I”m lost. Really really lost.

  2. I’ve always been like that, too. My husband teases me about it, but I don’t see the need to change that particular aspect of my personality. Who cares what day it is? If you’re getting what you need done and having some fun in the meantime, it shouldn’t truly matter.

  3. I have the problem of not remembering what season it is!!!! Seriously, this happens to be at least a few times a week. Am I losing it, just preoccupied or is there a “screw loose” as my 90-year-old mother would say. Maybe a little of everything. Anyway, I sure can relate.

  4. I always know what day of the week it is. Monday, I work at the office, Tuesday, at home, Wednesday – office, Thursday – home, Friday – office (and it’s FRIDAY!), Saturday – home/baseball/errands, Sunday – home/lazy/dreading Monday.
