You see that big empty box at the top of the page? The one where a banner ad should go. It’s empty, and it’s not because I don’t have advertisers who would like to be there.
It’s because I’m ad network free now. I’ve decided that banner ads serve little purpose, and the only one making any money was the ad network. I’ve decided that if there’s a product that I adore I’ll find a way to work with them, and I’ll tell you that I adore them.
No one will have to wonder if I really do endorse the businesses on the sidebar.
How long will this last? I’m not sure. I wouldn’t say forever, because I hate hate hate eating huge heaping servings of humble pie.
For now, it’s what works, and if I’m mentioning a product here, or on any other social channel it’s because I believe in them.
