Michael F. Stabile, went to work as a Currency Broker in the towers on September 11, 2001 and was never able to return home to his wife, Roseanna, and his children, Michele, Robert, and Lauren.
According to multiple online Guest books, Michael was nicknamed Stubby. He and his wife Roseanne were deeply embedded in their Staten Island community. Micheal F. Stabile was the guy you could call at the last minute to referee a basketball game, and he’d be right out there. Roseanna was his childhood sweetheart.
Michael was a sports fan and coached his children’s sports teams. I found a section of Legacy.com that seems to define him best.
He is missed in the office.
He is missed at the park.
He is missed by his daughter.
So many lives lost. It is good that they are not forgotten. These tributes are important and meaningful.
